Plugging along this month...low total on painting and games, but getting the budget back under control. Work schedule is lighter in second half of April and into May...plus I can paint at lunch when the weather gets better.

30 x 28mm Pulp figures: 30 points

GAMES
1 x 15mm WW2 game with Junior General and one of his friends.

PURCHASES and BUDGET
Spent: $90 on terrain, $490 total, $40 over budget
Planned: Renewal on Miniature Wargames and Wargames/Soldiers/Strategy
That will leave me about $40 for the month and I am back on target. I have also put aside all my Historicon money.

I plan on finishing 25 Pulp figures in April...and maybe some of the Pirates. Have a Fantasy game on the table ready to go.

March Madness

Fine week in the hobby. Junior General had a friend over and we played a quick game using the 15mm WW2 figures...just some made up rules on the fly since I was not really prepared.

May have recruited a new gamer...he is interested in coming to Historicon with us in July.

I finished painting the Pulp figures for JG. Tough looking crew below:

Pulp Figures

After a period of painter's block, I got back at it with this batch of figures from Bob Murch. Fantastic figures, easy to paint.

I am calling them "The Brethren"...a cult of fanatical religious zealots out to obtain all the mystical items on Earth. This will be a large Pulp Alley league with the leader remaining in the shadows on the golden throne.

Junior General painted this figure for his league based on gangsters and city thugs.

Some terrain from the pet store...lots of plot points can be located in these caves and the temple entrance.

Almost back on budget...target is to be back under control by end of April. 15 more figures primed for the Pulp Project. Trying to get them done by end of March. Planning for a Pulp Alley game next weekend.
