Good progress on the imagi-ancients and in completing the small WW2 aircraft project. I only have 4 cavalry units left for the first phase of the ancients project. I will finish them in May. I will then have to decide if I take it down the fantasy route next year.

I ordered up another batch of Khurasan modern/sci-fi figures. I plan to complete them all before Historicon in mid-July.

I will then have to decide what to work on for the second half of the year. I have all the figures on hand for my Pirate project, or I may do an addition to the original imagi-nation Katzenstin project.

My son and I played our first home game of Check Your 6! with the aircraft I finished this weekend. This project is now mature.

Simple scenario with a F4-F and a P40 chasing a Val trying to bomb a bunker with a Zero coming to intercept.

He damaged (lucky hit-wing) the Val but I got the bombs away for a near miss. The Val then banked away as the Zero got on the P40's tail and shot it down on the second try. The P40 pilot did bail out in friendly territory.

His Wildcat then made some nice moves (intentional stall) to break contact.

Great game but I know I missed some rules. We are going to try Bag the Hun rules next to get a comparison.
